vampire knight[chapter 22]

Three months had past since you been living at cross academy with the headmaster as your adopted father. During those three months you did what you always did and hunted and killed vampires you were assighed too. You even got a partner to join you during those missions and your partner happened to be Zero. Since he became your partner him and you got to know each other more and became very close both as partners and as friends. As for Kali she still hung out with the vampire Aido which you did not approve of but he never did anything to her that would make you shoot him in the head but since you did not trust him you would go with Kali to keep an eye on her in which you would bump into Kaname at times since he would be there hanging out with his friends and of course since Raven was part of the night class he would be there and talk to you in which at times you would talk with him while other times you would not say a word. One night while Kali was hanging out with Aido and Kain in the living room with the other vampires as Kaname was standing near the window looking out of it with a glass full of red liquid that had red blood tablets in it he saw someone walk up to the front entrance with someone next to them. Everyone heard the front door entrace and looked to see who stepped in. They all became suprised when they saw that it was you and Zero but what suprised them was that you had alot of blood stains on your clothes and had some blood on the side of your right cheek while Zero only had abit of small blood stains on his clothes while you on the other hand had alot. You looked towards Kali as she was sitting in between Aido and Kain on a cough. "I thought I find you here, the next time you want to come here be sure to call me first before going if im not around that way I know where you are instead of coming back from some where and finding your room empty.'' You told Kali with a cold tone. Before Kali could say anything Raven spoke. "Jeezs Lydia what the heck happened to you and your partner?'' "I just came back from a mission.'' "Well from the looks of it I take it you killed all the vampires you were assighed to get rid of?'' "Yes it happened to be a nest of them that was killing humans in the dead of night so me and Kiryu went to where they were living and killed them all off.'' "Yuzuki did most of the killing thats why she has more blood on her self then I do.'' Zero said to Raven. "You really dont show mercy to those you hunt do you Lydia?'' "No I dont.'' You looked back at Kali. "I just came to check on you and now that I know your fine I will be leaving but the next time you dont call me or tell me your coming here then I wont ever let you come to this place again understand.'' That was the last thing you said as you left with Zero. "Cold hearted as ever I see, man she sure dont change does she?'' Aido said to Kali. "As I told you before, my sister isnt all that bad, you just have to get to know her.'' "Yeah right something tells me if I try to get to know her my head will end up being blown off when she puts that gun of hers in my face.'' "You are right on that since she dont like how close your getting to her little sister Aido.'' Aido and Kali blushed but then Aido gave Kain a dirty look and told him to shut up. "If I could actually have a conversation with Yuzuki that would make my day.'' Everyone looked at Takuma. "Your still going on about that like Kain said she might just blow your head off like she wants to do to Aido.'' "How would we know if I have not talked to her yet the only one of us that she lets talk to her is Raven and Kaname.'' "Thats becauses shes friends with Raven and well I have no clue why she lets Lord Kaname talk to her.'' Aido said as he looked at Kaname. Feeling everyones eyes on him, Kaname turned and looked at them all with a smile. "Dont look to me for the answer since I have no idea either when just a few months ago she wanted to kill me.'' No one said anything since they all knew about what happened when Kaname told you about being half vampire and how you wanted to kill him for that but over the months you let that go and just decided to except that part of you even if you didnt like it one bit. "Well I should go since it is getting late.'' "Ok Kali but I hope to see you tomorrow night.'' Kali smiled at Aido. "I'll be here.'' Aido smiled back at her and watched as she left. Even thought Aido would not say it out loud everyone knew he had a crush on Kali but was to afraid to ask her to become his girlfriend since you were Kali's sister and Aido was scared of you. When Kali went to her dorm she went to see if you were already in yours but to her suprise you seemed like you just stepped in to take a shower and get a change of clothes and soon left. Kali coud tell that happened since your bathroom door was open to let the steam from the shower vanish in the air and your bloody clothes was on the bathroom floor. "She must still be with Zero after she came here and left.'' Kali thought as she closed your dorm room and went to hers as she went to bed for the night. What Kali thought was right. You were with Zero and the both of you was on top of one of the schools roofs looking up at the night sky as Zero stood and you were sitting at the edge of the roof stareing up. Zero also had taken a shower and was wearing a new set of clothes just like you were. "So what is it that you want to get off your mind Yuzuki I only ask since you never stay out this late unless its for a mission plus you dont ask me to join you to just stare up and look at the stars.'' Zero looked at you and saw you looking at him with a smirk on your face. "Oh is that so what if it I told you its because I want to confess my feelings for you thats why I asked you to join me up here to look at the stars what would you do then?'' Zero didnt say nothing since he could see you were just joking. You let out a sigh as you looked back at the night sky. "I think my sister has fallen in love with that vampire name Aido.'' "From your tone I can tell that you dont approve.'' "No I dont and I also know he feels the same way she does.'' "So thats whats been botheirng her and she wants to talk about it to someone so she asked me.'' Zero thought. "You could always ask Kuran to tell Aido to stay away from Kali.'' "I could but something tells me he wont do it since he doesnt seem to mind a vampire and human falling in love plus Aido could be with Kali since hes not a pure blood like Kuran is, if Aido did bite Kali with her permission he wouldnt be able to turn her into a vampire like pure bloods could how ever.'' You narrowed your eyes. "If Aido ever did try to bite my sister even if she did give him her permssion I will kill him.'' You sighed again. "Of all the people she knows why did she have to fall for a vampire.'' You heard Zero walk up behind you and felt him place his hand on your shoulder having you look up at him as he looked down at you. "You cant pick who you fall in love with it just happens but I do agree with you that its wrong to fall for a vampire.'' "Yes it is but as you said we cant pick who we fall in love with which makes me think whats going to happen to me when I fall in love but I highly doubt I will ever fall in love with anyone since all im focused on right now is finding the vampires who killed my mother and step father and kill them and then try and find out who my father is.'' "You dont have to do it all alone you know im here for you Yuzuki.'' "Thank you Kiryu but even if you are since your my partner this is someting I have to do alone.'' Zero nodded his head and helped you up. "Thank you for listening to what I had on my mind Kiryu, if there is ever anything on your mind you can come and talk to me about it.'' "I will partner.'' You and Zero smiled then laughed softly at one another. You then said good night to Zero and went back to your dorm. As Zero walked to his he had a sad look on his face. "She never wants to fall in love huh heh I guess that means I have no chance then since if I did tell her what she really meant to me it would go with out the answer I would want so all I can do is just keep my true feelings for her quiet and continue to be her close friend and partner.'' Zero thought as he reached his dorm and went to bed.
